Dear Joe,

Welcome to the group!

You can see the (nearly) current database at
"http://www.hpl.hp.com/bot/cp_home".

I have a folder of perhaps 100 contributed photos, and an extensive set
of Utric slides from Barry that I still need to scan and add. I'm also
hoping to do a complete upgrade of the "look and feel" of the CP WEB
page to take advantage of some of Netscapes nicer formattting features.

I'm facilitating this project, but the content and speed of completion is
entirely up to the CP community. I'm happy to install any information that
you wish to contribute!

A series of Drosera seed photos would be fascinating to add to the database.

Likewise with any botanical drawings of microscopic details.

If you really want to dig in, contact Jan Schlauer for an information packet
on writing/assembling/editing a species monograph for the database.

If you are skilled in HTML (or want to learn :-)), I would love to have
help in maintaining or extending the database. I'm also looking for
someone willing to mirror the database in case anything ever happens to
the HP server (or to me :-().

Thanks (in advance) for your kind contributions!
