lights

Speaking of lights, I would suggest wide spectrum bulbs which are
inexpensive (though not as cheap as ordinary cool or warm bulbs) , and have
been shown to be better than a combination of cool/warm for overall plant
growth. There are of course Vita Lite Tru Blooms which retail at approx $10
a tube, but which render the plants pretty much as they would appear in
natural sunlight. It is also a more pleasant light to live by, and may not
need to be changed as frequently as wide sprectrums, which could justify the
price..
