Nepthenes seed

For those of you with low (or no!) germination rates on your Nepthenes
seed, do not despair! I planted a bunch of seed back in August and
November and got really miserable results (out of 7 varieties, only 2
did *anything* in the first 4 months). Now that the weather has warmed
up, I have sprouting seed in all but two of the 7 pots, even new
seedlings in the pots where I already had some young plants.

The two pots that did have some initial growth were ones where I had
treated the seed with Superthrive overnight. One (of three) of those
seed pots still doesn't have any growth though.

Method of germination was the same (other than the SuperThrive treat-
ment) - sow the seeds on wet peat and then stand the pot in very shallow
water tray.

For those who have done this before...how long do I continue to grow the
seedlings in the pure peat before I move them to some other media? And
what should that be? The oldest ones are showing definition between
the "leaves" and "pitchers" that they're producing and the total leaf
length is about 3/8 inch for the newest growth.
