Tissue culture and colchicine treatment of Nepenthes

I know that tissue culture methods exist for Nepenthes, however, i
have yet to find decent protocols for this. I would be interested to find
out what has been done and what needs to be done in this area. If someone
could direct me to a reliable source, or provide first hand information
regarding what works and what does not, I would be grateful. I have access
to everything I would need to experiment, I would like to find preliminary
information so I can have a rough area in which to begin. Any information
learned will be posted ( if anyone is interested.
Second, I have not heard of colchicine treated Nepenthes. Has
anyone tried this? Does it produce an altered ploidy count and
subsequently larger pitchers? Would anyone be interested in trying such
experiments? I understand that this treatment results in generally larger
flowers in orchids, some of which are also fertile.

Any sugestions/remarks are appreciated,

Fritz
