Greetings from Atlanta. Many thanks for Rick Walker for walking me through
the sign up process. By the way, I am Ron Gagliardo, formerly of Hungry
Plants Nursery in Raleigh, NC. I gave it up to let someone else pay my bills
and took a job at the Atlanta Botanical Garden in Atlanta, Georgia. Here I
curate the CP collection and also manage the new plant tissue culture lab. I
am very interested in expanding our CP collection and cultivation techniques,
so I am looking forward to future correspondence with other subscribers. I
frequently have plants, seeds or as is the case this time, pollen for
exchange. I am working on our CP list, and will send it later. It covers
about 250 species and hybrids. At the moment, my main concern is getting
Nepenthes pollen out to available females. We will soon have N. bicalcarate
pollen available. At the moment, I think there is pollen from N. veitchii, N.
X rokko, N. alata, and N. alata X ampullaria (X ROn Determann). Please send
me a mailing address if you require some. If successful, I would like to have
a few seeds back for the lab. That's all for now. More later.
Best to all.
