I think the main problem for crossing Sarr. with Darlingtonia is a diffe-
rent number of chromosomes. I am not biologist but I think the crossing is
forbiden in this case.
Sarracenia with beautiful flowers (which was reached by crossing) is the
"Marston Mill". Now I do not know its parents exactly but the plant is
described in Slack's book .
