Plant update:

D. chrysolepis:
My plant is now flowering with big 2.6 cm in diameter flowers. Flower
stalk is very hairy.

Drosophyllum:
I have a plant nearly six months old. This is the longest time I've
had one alive. Others that germinated conk out after a month or two.
I'm keeping this one wetter than the previous ones. Leaves have a
distinct sweet smell.

Sarracenias/Sarraceniae are starting to grow outside. S. flava is
the only species starting flowers so far. Next week should be the end
of frosts.

Cephalotus culture:
These should not be sitting in water. If going on vacation, putting the
plant into a clear plastic baggie should keep it happy for up to a month.
I like peat moss, sand and perlite for soil rather than sphagnum, which
absorbs too much water if you overwater.
