Although it is really messy to handle and very difficult to remove
once it has set, I find that Silicone Rubber Bathtub Caulk is rather
good as an insulator for electrical stuff. You can get it into
moderately tight corners and, unlike most of the epoxy I've used, it
doesn't drip off after you apply it, because it is quite viscous.
