Hmmm...First I hear on the news all this talk about the legality of some
patents regarding genetically altered plants. Now you suggest that Carlquist
was doing some work with carnivores at that research facility, and suddenly
all the botanists fled for unknown reasons...could it be that one of the
experiments was too successful? That something went wrong...very very wrong...
Strange how all the cats that usually roam my neighborhood are suddenly
absent...
