I always seem to be violating the rules... My Heliamphora are standing in a
half inch of water and growing very well. The water stays very cool as they
are in a drafty window sill. I grow mine in live spaghnum harvested from a
constantly overgrown terrarium. I just snipped a shoot off a H. nutans x
heterodoxa, dusted it with rootone and stuck it in some this past weekend.
Don't know if rootone would work, but I thought I'd try it. The shoot is still
green after a week and a half.

Some time ago I expressed an interest in helping out with an electronic version
of CPN. I have not contacted anyone about it and since I don't have any back
issues, don't have any connection with the newsletter, it just seemed too big a
project. However, I would like to pursue a smaller project - putting the
tables of contents online. It would be useful to people who don't own back
issues (like me), but might want to acquire some or request articles via
Interlibrary Loan or from a friend. I was wondering if a few people would be
willing to photocopy CPN tables of contents from their issues and mail them to
me? I'd take care of scanning/OCR or retyping as needed to create the
electronic versions.
