Well, Casper is somewhat ...errrm... let us call it outdated (moreover, it
is in German). His key is suitable for IDing the larger groups within the
genus, but it will most probably fail if you try to key one of the more
recent introductions from Mexico with it.

No, I cannot really recommend any key for _Pinguicula_ at the moment. IDing
butterworts is a funny job with all the available (English, German,
Spanish) literature, just like a simultaneous match of chess.

I think there will come a kind-of-monograph from Sergio Zamudio-Ruiz (for
Mexican species: his reflections on the European part of the genus are not
corresponding to at least my own rumination) some fine day, maybe including
a key.

Franz Fuchs (and his botanist Franz Speta) is going to re-investigate the
enfant-terrible sect. Orcheosanthus, and maybe we shall finally get some
insight in his concept of these species. At the moment he is using invalid
and ill- defined names, making comprehension somewhat difficult.
