My understanding is these plants require a LOT of sun to
really color up. Yet they require coolth too. Giving them
light w/out heat is a challenge.

I don't think so. they are in different genus'.

Yes, it fell of the escarpment. Raised by wolves, it is
particularly hirsute, and has fangs like N. bicalcarata... :-).

No, I really don't have a clue as to what I'm talking about.
I find this designation suspicious at best. It's names like
this that give Jans' naming criteria validity...

I believe H. has a very small root system. And it doesn't
like being repotted. Personally I leave mine alone, at least
until such time as roots start coming out the drain holes of
the pot.
