Please do not start that advertising project!
The difference is as follows:
bulbs are derived from stems with condensed internodes. Thus, you can peel off
leaves from this storage organ.
With tubers it is these internodes which are thickened, so you can only peel
off the bark (one outer layer).
Onions are bulbs, the potato is a tuber.

PS:Perhaps you know the name _Drosera_BULBosa_...(a not very "new" one, but
botanists like the oldest names best!).
