I don't know how others are receiving the news that krs is telling
us, but I am astonished he is having success taking leaf cuttings from
tuberous _Drosera_ (or perhaps should I say, tuberous _Droserae_?!)
What species have you done this with? I don't have my references with
me, but if only _D.whittakeri_, isn't that species somewhat remote
from the other tuberous species, in terms of habitat, geographical
location, or evolutionarily? (how's that for a new word)
