A common complaint. But, oh the lucky man who finds a woman
that appreciates his plants!

Just think of CP as a litmus test for the potential spouse.

I watched a PBS special last night on using finely pulverized granite
dust to remineralize the soil in forests. Tests showed excellent results
on food crops also. The idea is to simulate the dust that is left after
each glaciation/ice age cycle.

Supposedly, it is the leaching of minerals that weakens the forests,
causing them to die and release CO2, that triggers each ice age. The
glaciation then remineralizes the soil, allowing the forests to regenerate,
and so on...

I've been thinking about getting some of this stuff and putting in my
regular CP mix. Especially after seeing pings growing luxuriously in
serpentine gravel/dust at Gasquet, CA.
