As to Allen Lowrie's seed:
I can confirm what Barry said. Until now I had success with one
_Pinguicula_ (_P.corsica_, which germinated afer 1 week at a rate of
>50%!), _U.calycifida_, and several other _Utriculariae_ (with varying
success in prolonged culture in vitro, e.g. the Australian
_Utricularia_ species tend to die several weeks after germination 8-( ).
I think his prices are not too high if you consider the quite exotic
species he offers. I'd recommend Allen to the advan- ced grower, as it
will be quite difficult to grow some of the species offered. Kind
