Barry,
Taylor is assumedly not wrong with his drawing. I have a specimen of this
species from Colombia, in which the fruiting calyx does look like that drawn
by Taylor. But your observation is interesting, though. It seems the calyx
does not change in shape during anthesis (OK, it may grow a bit). Or at least
it returns to its pre-anthesis position in fruit.
Oh, sorry with the above-mentioned species, I meant _U.nana_, of course.
