Usually the better CP books have a glossary which defines things
like this. Thus you get the bonus of a CP book and a horticultural
dictionary.

I've grown quite a selection of CP under flourescent tubes in an
interior office. Currently I have 2 15 gal. fishtanks in my office
with a flourescent fixture on top of the tanks. You'll want at
least 2 tubes, preferably 2' 20 watt bulbs.

Low light CP do well: D. adelae, D. prolifera. Also warm loving
plants do well. I don't recommend using North American plants
unless you take them home during the winter to let them go dormant.
Nepenthes are good candidates for office growing. I'm getting a
N. alata cutting which I'm goin to try to root & grow here at the
office. Drosera and pings. to well also, particularly mexican pings
such as D. moranensis.
