Rob, I believe that Roridula comes from the Fynbos region of South Africa.
This is an chaparral-type habitat with low to medium sized shrubs (many
Proteas!) and a Mediterranean climate. It could look superficially like
the interior chaparral in Arizona, or somewhat like the Great Basin scrub.
I expect Roridula to take well to being kept on the dry side. It probably
won't like temperature extremesthough.

'Course, that's just a guess!
