Sunil:

It sounds like a good experiment. A warning though---aquatic _Utrics_
are most tempermental. Aquatics that thread through a substrate, like
_U. gibba_ and _U. resupinata_, are much easier. _Aldrovanda_ is almost
legendary in its difficulty in cultivation.

I rather like the comment from Rick regarding the use of airstones:
