Hmm. I hope the _D.slackii_ doesn't snuff it. It is a very interesting and
exotic looking plant.

I was most irritated to note that a worm must be living in with my _U._nana_,
a recent acquisition from our inestimable list-subscriber Rob Maharajh.
This plant just barely survived shipping, and now I've got to muck around in
the pot before the worm covers the 3 2.5-mm long leaves with castings. Grr.

Jan, good going with the _U._simulans_. If I recall, either this or its
closely related _U._fimbriata_ occurs in the U.S., in Florida, too. But
it is very rare there. Maybe I should drop Fernando a letter myself. I've
heard plenty of good things about him.

Does anyone have any suggestions on vegetatively propagating _D._glabripes_?
I've got a single mature plant, leaf cuttings so far have been unsuccessful.
I'm afraid it is going to flower some day, produce no seed, then die.
