Subject: Drosera Capensis sprouting...good news/bad news

Hi all:

I have good news and bad news about the packet of Drosera Capensis seeds
that I sprouted from a single ICPS packet. The good news is I have about
100 percent germination. And, I now see why D. Capensis will never be an
endangered species. The bad news is, I have ended up with over 120
seedlings which I transplanted to small six packs on Sunday evening. I
quickly ran out of six packs, and was forced to have some of them share
their space with each other. Yes, the seed is viable, but D. Capensis
appears to be the weed of the Drosera world.

I'm still waiting for the D. Rotundifolia packets to sprout. No sign of
life yet.

On the bright side, I have managed to transplant over 25 Nepenthes
Stenophylla seedlings to individal containers. This is a positive
development, and I'm encouraged.
