>Hey Folks,

>I am proud to inform all that the December issue of CPN has gone to the
>printer. This issue, I am pleased to say, is dedicated to Adrian Slack.

As somebody who has not yet subscribed to the CPN, could I begin my
subscription with the December issue, and carry on with the 2001
issues? Also what is the best way to pay for it, as I am in the UK? Do
you take credit cards?

>The horticulturists on this list will be absolutely thrilled, I am
sure,
>by the amazingly beautiful Sarracenia 'Adrian Slack', which will be
>gracing the cover of the December issue. This is, without
qualification,
>the most beautiful hybrid I have ever seen. In fact, when I first saw
>photographs of it, I thought it was one of those photoshop-enhanced
fakes
>we are occasionally asked to believe---it is that incredible!

>Other exciting elements in this issue: another Slack cultivar named by
>Peter D'Amato (Sarracenia 'Vintage Slack'), and also Pinguicula
>Aphrodite' and Cephalotus 'Hummer's Giant'.

Will these new species be available to buy commercially? Again bearing
in mind I am in the UK.
