Dear Miguel,

I don't think that's the average time to get a flowering size plant, but
the max. The average would four years from seed as some plants can flower
in their third. I believe that for the larger species, like _S.
leucophylla, S. flava_ and _S.alata_ you could expect a couple to flower on
the fourth year, but five years would be the average for these species; for
the rest of _Sarracenia_ I think four years would be the best average.
Sorry, I don't know much about how Sarracenia behave after coming out of TC,
but considering the conditions they would have almost no dormancy while in
tc or in a terrarium for that matter. If you are careful with their
dormancy I think you could get about nine months extra worth of growth in
three years versa growing them outside.
