     Yeah, _Sarracenia leucophylla_ will grow fine, at least as far north as
New Jersey. I feel that it's growing season is cut short by the cold. And
that's not really the best thing for the grower, since I only get to see the
fall flush of pitchers grow for a couple weeks until the frosts come. The
fully formed pitchers stay around through December and on warmer days they
continue to catch insects while at night they freeze. I think you could
grow this species even further north without much ado.
    I don't mulch, but I do have to keep on pushing the rhizomes and
hibernaculum of smaller plants back down into the soil because of frost
heaving.
