OK. Here we go. This time I'll try a diff once again. The quite numerous 
changes reflect typographic changes (generic names should be treated 
just like species names, i.e. in "[]") and some new content, viz. 
classification data and red list categories (where available from 
published literature).

I have seen some original (19th century) literature while I was at the 
University of Kentucky in Lexington last year, and a few long time 
problems have been resolved this way.
